How do I purchase a product from Furbysh?

Our mission is to make it easy to purchase furniture online, so here it is - just follow these steps:
1.   Select any product, have a look through the images and product information.
3.   Add the product to your cart. Add any order notes at this stage.
4. Click 'Checkout' and enter your email and shipping address.
5. Click 'Continue to shipping' then 'Continue to payment'
6.   Select your preferred payment option and click 'Pay now'
7.   You will receive an email confirming your order.

How do I request a timber sample?

Click here to order your free timber sample.

Simply click on the timber type available in the collection you are interested in, add the colours you want to your cart and complete the checkout process.

You will not be required to enter credit card details as these are free.

How can I pay for my order?

We accept payment by Credit Card (Visa/Mastercard), or by bank deposit. You can select which method you prefer once in the checkout.

Where is Furbysh furniture made?

All Furbysh furniture is sourced from one of New Zealands leading furniture manufacturers, Coastwood Furniture. They are based on the Westcoast of the South Island, truly NZ Made!

What customisation options are available?

Great question! You can choose from a great range of stain and paint options, choose your handle, upgrade to premium drawer runners or even change dimensions to suit your home. Email us today with your requirements to info@furbysh.co.nz.

Can I change or cancel an order I just placed?

Sure, if you made a mistake during the purchasing process or just simply changed your mind, the order can be modified or cancelled as long as it has not been shipped. To ask for the shipping status or alter your order, please email info@furbysh.co.nz 

Delivery

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is free NZ wide including rural addresses for orders over $800! For orders under $800 there is a freight charge of $80. For deliveries outside of mainland New Zealand please email us on info@furbysh.co.nz

How will my order be delivered?

Furbysh uses United Movers for delivery nationwide. All furniture is blanket wrapped for protection during transport. These will be removed upon delivery, leaving minimal packaging to be disposed of.

United Movers will contact you (on the contact number provided by you) prior to delivery to arrange a suitable delivery time.

Can I specify a delivery date?

Yes you can specify a delivery date and mostly we can achieve this however we cannot guarantee this will definitely happen. Delivery date will depend on capacity of United Movers during that day.

Will I have to assemble my product when it arrives?

All furniture comes assembled except for beds. Beds do require assembly and come with simple step-by-step assembly instructions.

What if I am not at my delivery address when my order arrives?

United Movers will contact you (on the contact number provided by you) prior to delivery to arrange a suitable delivery time. If you are unable to get home for the agreed time United Movers will hold onto your furniture and contact you again to arrange another time for delivery.

What if I don't like the item I received, can I request for a refund?

Sure, we're confident you'll love your new Furbysh purchase, but just to make sure, you have 50 days to try it out. If you're not completely happy we'll have it picked up and refund the full amount. There is no catch. Zero risk and hassle free!

What do I need to do if I want to return a product?

All we need from you is to contact us at info@furbysh.co.nz so we can facilitate the return.

Once we have accepted your return request, one of the United Movers team will contact you to schedule for the collection. We will only process the refund after we collect the returned item. All refunds will take 7 days to process and we will issue in the form of a credit back to the original method of payment. However, Furbysh reserves the rights to change the mode of refund.

What can I do if a product arrived damaged?

Any damages detected upon delivery should be reported immediately to the delivery team and be sure it is noted on the delivery docket. You will also need to email us at info@furbysh.co.nz and provide a detailed description and photos. We will be in contact to arrange either repair or replacement.

Warranty

Does Furbysh furniture come with a product warranty?

All Furbysh furniture is covered by a 10 year warranty. This covers any manufacturing faults or defects in relation to:

(a) Construction of the furniture products
(b) Workmanship and manufacturing
(c) All timber related joints

This warranty does not cover:

  • Wear, tear or damage caused by misuse, improper, modification in any way, accident, or failure to follow care instructions
  • Damage from using detergents, abrasives or other harsh cleaning agents.
  • Changes in surface finishes due to ageing or exposure to light;
  • Natural variations of wood grain or figure or the presence of character marks.

The 10-year warranty is valid from the date of order and is available to the original purchaser of the product only.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Easy! Just email us at info@furbysh.co.nz and provide a detailed description of fault and photos showing the damage or fault.
