Delivery Details:

When your order is ready for dispatch, you will be sent an email to advise an estimated delivery time frame.

Furbysh uses United Movers for delivery nationwide. All furniture is blanket wrapped for protection during transport. These will be removed upon delivery, leaving minimal packaging to be disposed of.

United Movers will contact you (on the contact number provided by you) prior to delivery to arrange a suitable delivery time.

Very important: When you receive the furniture, please check it all to ensure it is not damaged in any way before signing the delivery receipt. It is important you do this while the carrier is still present. Any damages detected should be reported immediately to the delivery team and be sure it is noted on the delivery docket. You will also need to email us at info@furbysh.co.nz and provide a detailed description and photos. We will be in contact to arrange either repair or replacement.

While our freight partners provide a door-to-door service, this doesn’t include carrying items upstairs, the placement of items or removing packaging.

A multi-step finish is applied to all of our furniture. However, all wood comes from nature so there will be natural variations in surface texture, grain patterns, knots, and colour that may affect the finish. These differences in character are not defects, but distinctions that make each piece of furniture unique.

Our furniture is built to last. Following these steps for basic care should protect your investment for years to come:

• Dust frequently with a clean damp lint-free cloth. This will help remove abrasive build up which can damage a finish over time.
• Do not place hot objects on any furniture surface. Always use a hot plate or placemat. Lacquer finishes on table tops provide added scratch and heat resistance to our furniture, but they can still be damaged without proper care.
• Avoid exposing your furniture to strong sunlight, heat outlet, open windows or dampness. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can fade the finish of your furniture, while extreme temperature and humidity changes can cause cracking or splitting.
• Do not expose your furniture to any liquids. Never allow water to sit on your furniture. Alcohol, nail polish and perfume are also dangerous as they will dissolve the lacquer finish on contact and may require professional repairs.
